‘As you wish’

The climbing of the Cliffs of Insanity

‘- Hello there. Slow going?
– Look, I don’t mean to be rude but this is not as easy as it looks, so I’d appreciate it if you wouldn’t distract me.
– Sorry.
– Thank you.’

The fall from the hill

‘Boo. Boo. Rubbish. Filth. Slime. Muck. Boo. Boo. Boo.’

What a lovely couple!

‘- Think it’ll work?
– It would take a miracle.’

The hero of the movie is on the left, carried by André the Giant, a French wrestler.

A great comic fairy tale adapted from a book including a rhyming giant, one of the purest love story ever filmed (Cary Elwes’ charisma illuminates the movie), an avenging fencer, vicious enemies and sulky wizards.  And of course brilliant dialogues:

‘Rodents Of Unusual Size? I don’t think they exist.’ (This one is only funny if you’ve watched the scene)

‘- With all dead, well, with all dead there’s usually only one thing you can do.
– What’s that?
– Go through his clothes and look for loose change.’

More pics of the actor who plays Fezzik: André René Roussimoff, dubbed as the 8th Wonder of the world.
